About Joel Beetsch

Joel Beetsch is an experienced Corporate Affairs expert who engages external healthcare stakeholders in a patient-focused manner. Dr. Beetsch has lead Corporate Affairs, Patient Advocacy, and Medical Affairs functions within the biopharmaceutical industry for 25 years. Using a highly collaborative approach across both internal and external stakeholders, Joel executes coordinated and innovative strategies to foster safe and effective solutions to healthcare challenges. These efforts drive the assurance that patient access to healthcare solutions and medical innovation and are valued and advanced. Joel serves as the co-chairperson for the steering committee of the Susan G. Komen Big Data for Patients (BD4P) initiative and is a member of the Pharma Biotech Advisory Committee at Crossroads4Hope. Joel also serves as the President of the National Advisory Board for Family Reach, a non-profit organization dedicated to alleviating the financial burden of cancer. Dr. Beetsch earned his Doctorate in Neurobiology/Biochemistry from the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University and further training at the Washington University School of Medicine. Joel lives in Mendham, New Jersey with his wife and two daughters.
