About Joel Bernstein

Senior Vice President, Chief Operations Officer (2006-Present). Primary focus information technology infrastructure, and vendor management, for a highly respected financial institution. Prior to my current position, I had successfully created my own business, which provided remote deposit capture and ACH services. My accomplishments, knowledge and expertise evidence my success as an extraordinary team player. While serving as SVP, of this financial institution, it allowed me to obtain an invaluable level of experience within the disciplines of operations, technology, vendor management, and IT-related regulatory compliance. My accomplishments and experience can be leveraged to identify growth and streamlining opportunities while being cognizant of associated risk and control challenges within an aggressive business environment. I had achieved a CISA and an advanced certificate in data security. I authored a thesis on “Price Level Adjusted Financial Statements”, and I also authored a white paper entitled, “Check Clearing for the 21st Century Act: An analysis of Compliance Investment Costs vs. A Transactional Cost Alternative”.
