About Joel Bradley
After working as a software architect and developer for some twenty years, I was tasked with transitioning our engineering firm from AutoCAD (2D drawing) to Revit (3D modeling), to adapt to the changing industry. It was a significant learning curve and required engaging people that didn't want to make the change, but after several years of hard work we came out the other side. The logical aspect of engineering and 3D modeling appeals to my technical nature, and activities like rendering (photo-realistic images extracted from a building model) and developing new 3D components satisfy my creative side. As a go-to person in the company, I also enjoy passing on to others what I've learned and experienced, and figuring out problems that have others stumped. Outside of work, my main focus is spending time with my beautiful family. Hobbies include sailing, hiking, mountain biking, drumming, and gardening.
