My forthcoming book, Rebooting a Nation, is a detailed look into how the country of Estonia rose from the ashes of Soviet occupation to become a global leader in technology, startups, and e-government in a single generation. I'm passionate about the intersection of tech and policy, making products that work for people, and American dynamism. I bring a unique perspective to bear with an international background in government, tech, and nonprofit work across four continents. I am a policy analyst at Mozilla, having recently finished a series of fellowships supporting the U.S. Congress on various tech policy related matters, including AI policy for Senator Rounds. Previously, I was a partner at Tribe AI, a collective of some of the world's foremost artificial intelligence and ML engineers, scientists, and researchers. Prior to Tribe AI, I was leading BD at the Republic of Estonia's e-Residency program, led a Rocket Internet venture focused on the future of work and gig economy, was a Venture for Africa Fellow, and was an early employee at a YC/Andreessen backed startup among other jobs.
