As a Clinical Consultant at Abiomed, I support the clinical use of Impella, in various settings, such as cath labs, ICUs, and ORs. I work with physicians and nurses to provide education, training, and troubleshooting on the device. I have over six years of nursing experience, mainly in the cardiac cath lab and the emergency department. I also have experience as a Travel Nurse where I worked in different emergency departments across the country, handling diverse and complex cases, such as trauma, stroke, and sepsis. I hold a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Wichita State University, where I graduated with honors. I am passionate about learning new skills and advancing my career beyond the bedside. I am a hard-working, self-starting, and team-oriented professional who can adapt to new situations and challenges quickly. I pride myself on my ability to form relationships with physicians and ancillary staff, and to contribute to the improvement of patient outcomes and satisfaction.
