Clinical Translational research in autoimmune inflammatory disease. In particular, utilizing detailed clinical information and access to well characterized clinical samples (cells, biological fluids, etc.) to facilitate research into the molecular mechanisms altered in individuals carrying particular genetic risk factors for these diseases. The goal of my research group is to continue to develop both the resources for clinical translational research in autoimmune diseases and to better understand how immune cell signaling perturbations affect immune cell development, disease development and progression in humans.
