29 years of experience covering all aspects of science and technology development in air launched munitions. • Manages and directs a 50+ workforce consisting of civilians, military and contractor personnel• As Senior Engineer leads the development of basic science and engineering concepts that impact next generation weapons• Responsible for the operations of a 600 acre test facility used to demonstrate concepts and to characterize munitions • Works with Branch subject matter experts to define research goals and to monitor the execution of multi-million dollar science and technology programs • Communicates effectively with Ordnance Division leadership and with leadership throughout the Munitions Directorate• As a working scientist and engineer had a successful record of developments of new science and technology in material science • Has an extensive network of collaborators through-out the DoD, DoE, and the US Defense Industry • Technical Point of Contact for 10+ years on the data exchange agreement between the Munitions Directorate and the Agency for Defense Development, South Korea• Mentored numerous projects executed by college engineering students (Florida State University, and Florida International University) from to present. • Recipient of the US Government’s Exemplary Service Award (2004)
