About Joel Jacob

As a civil/structural engineering intern at EVERMIL PTY LTD, I apply my engineering analysis, structural analysis, and steel structures skills to support the design and delivery of various infrastructure projects, such as bridges, buildings, and roads. I work with a team of experienced engineers and technicians to ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of the structures. I also assist with the preparation of technical reports, drawings, and specifications, and liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. I have over three years of work experience in different sectors, including health care and food service, where I developed my customer service, communication, and leadership skills. I am currently completing my bachelor's degree in civil engineering at the University of Wollongong, where I have learned the theoretical and practical aspects of civil engineering, such as geotechnical engineering, fluid mechanics, and project management. I am passionate about civil engineering and its impact on society and the environment. I aim to pursue a career in this field and contribute to the development and improvement of sustainable and resilient infrastructure.
