Joel is a seasoned M&E practitioner with seven years’ experience in the field. He has a good grasp of forecasting and planning for M&E activities using long-term strategic plans such as Project Monitoring and Evaluation Plans (PMP) including Theory of Change (TOC) and Logical Frameworks (Log-Frames) and short-term operational plans such as conducting baseline, mid-term, end of project and impact evaluations. Capable of controlling, coordinating, commanding and executing various M&E functions such as data collection, collation, storage, analysis, interpretation, management, and reporting. Joel has great interpersonal skills adept in creation and maintenance of good relations, forming and sustaining high-performance teams. He is also good in both verbal and non-verbal communication. With vast work experience in project management knowledge from conceptualization, funding, execution, monitoring, evaluation, and closure. Having worked for both national; Kenya Agriculture and Livestock Research Organization (KALRO) and international firms such as International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) and TechnoServe (TNS), under various donors such as Bill and Melinda Gates, USDA, USAID, Ford Foundation, Syngenta Foundation, and Rockefeller Foundation.
