I am a multidisciplinary professional with a strong background in petroleum geology, hydrogeology, and construction management. My career began in the energy sector, where I gained extensive experience in well logging, petrophysics, and subsurface evaluation. As a Well Site Hydrogeologist, I worked with Schlumberger array resistivity equipment to probe for groundwater, analyze borehole data, and oversee drilling operations to ensure accurate formation evaluation and sustainable resource development. Transitioning into the built environment, I expanded my expertise into project and construction management. At Ikotun Associates, I served as a Project Manager and Site Inspector, overseeing HVAC installation projects from material procurement through installation and commissioning. I ensured compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and client expectations, while maintaining a strong focus on cost efficiency and timeline adherence. Currently, I work in Construction Management across the boroughs of New York City, providing field oversight for infrastructure improvement projects under the Department of Parks and Recreation. My responsibilities include supervising sidewalk inspections, saw cutting, excavations, forming, wire mesh placement, stone base installation, concrete pouring, and punch list closeouts. I also manage landscape and urban forestry initiatives, including street tree planting and park rehabilitation projects, ensuring contractors adhere strictly to design scope, environmental standards, and city safety regulations. I am dedicated to maintaining quality, safety, and environmental stewardship on every project, ensuring all worksites operate in compliance with PPE requirements and Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT) protocols. My blend of technical geoscience expertise and hands-on construction management experience allows me to bridge the gap between design, field implementation, and sustainability, delivering results that meet both engineering and community objectives.
