Après avoir suivi un cursus en Licence de Géographie au sein de la spécialité Traitement de l'Information Géographique, j'ai poursuivi mon cursus au sein du Master Structures et Dynamiques Spatiales qui m'a permis de m'intéresser au phénomène urbain en Inde. Les résultats obtenus m'ont permis de montrer la stabilité nationale du système urbain indien et l'existence de situations de déséquilibres à l'échelle des sous-systèmes urbains. J'ai poursuivi ces travaux de recherches dans le cadre d'un Doctorat de Géographie portant sur l'évolution du système urbain indien depuis le début du siècle dernier, lequel a été soutenu. Le but de cette thèse de Doctorat est d'analyser les mécanismes d'évolution du système urbain indien au 20ème siècle en détectant, parmi eux, ceux qui constituent sa After completing my Bachelor of Geography in the specialty treatment of geographic information, I continued my studies in the Master Spatial structures and dynamics that allowed me to take an interest in urban phenomenon in India. I pursue this research work through a PhD Geography on the evolution of the Indian urban system since the early twentieth century. The aim of this PhD thesis is to update our knowledge on the Indian urban system by emphasizing the existence of space, structural, economic and demographic processes give it its complex and particular nature.
