About Joel Robison

As a Compliance Systems and Database Administrator at Saint Martin's University, I manage the financial aid database and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. I also oversee the archiving and retention of student records and documents and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. I leverage my expertise in PowerFAIDS, a software system designed for financial aid administration, to optimize data entry, reporting, and verification. My passion for community improvement and assisting fellow humans stems from my education and experience in public service. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Pacific Lutheran University, where I learned about the diversity and complexity of human cultures and societies. I also have experience as a Senior Financial Aid Counselor and an Office Manager at Saint Martin's University, where I helped students and co-workers with various financial and administrative tasks. I developed strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a positive and flexible attitude. My goal is to apply all of my hard work and experience to make a difference in the lives of others.
