My roots are in entrepreneurship and I maintain that spirit in all I do. After short stint in the Corporate world (Dana Corp) I moved back to the Upper Peninsula and enjoyed 10+ years of small business ownership. Through a unique transition, I then had a 11+ year stint in local gov't service delivery to the Northern Michigan business community with strong roles in Small Business Development Centers, MI Works, CUPPAD, UPEDA, and local EDOs. I moved to the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians to help revitalize their Economic and business development efforts which has evolved to my current role as CEO of Sault Tribe Inc (STI). STI began operation mid-2020 and today has 5 subsidiaries and recent gov't contracts wins over $30M.
