I love it but how can I push it further?" The phrase that helped me discover design and the phrase that I still use today. I built my own dark room in high school where I developed & enlarged my own film. I would set the film in place, shut off all the lights and take out the special film paper and set it underneath the enlarger. After doing this so many times that special phrase came to mind,"I love it but how can I push it further?" I started cutting out shapes and placing them in patterns on the paper before exposing it. This led to new directions I could take my work. I pushed it even further by cutting letters into the shape to communicate a message. This is how I discovered graphic design. Since then I have never been able to stop "pushing things forward." Photography led to graphic design which has now led to product design. Today I use atomic design to build & scale websites for growth-driven organizations. I collaborate with developers, product managers, SEO analysts, & CEOs of amazing companies to identify the needs of the users and design a seamless user-centric experience.
