About Joel Usher
In this chapter of my life and career, I have enjoyed merging my 40 years of horticulture experience with my passion for social and environmental justice in ways I was unable to do in the past. This has allowed me to grow personally, to connect more deeply with my clients and to participate in the healing of our planet in a greater way than ever before. For now, one yard at a time. Having worked in non-profit social justice for years, finding and working through its links with earth justice inspires much of what I do now. As my business continues to grow, I look forward to realizing the dream of assisting in clean water projects in under-resourced parts of the neighborhood of our world. For now I find joy in offering knowledge, products and services which protect and heal the local ecology on Long Island.
