About Joelina Eppelmann

Prozesse und Nachhaltigkeit sind meine Leidenschaft. Vereinen durfte ich beide Themen in meiner Masterarbeit, welche ich an der Universität in Hamburg im Rahmen des Studiums "International Management & Sustainability" im September 2022 erfolgreich eingereicht habe. Auf den wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen aufbauend, freue ich mich nun, auch in der Praxis für ein nachhaltiges gesellschaftliches & wirtschaftliches Handeln einzutreten und durch ökologische, soziale und ökonomische Geschäftsprozessentwicklung Nachhaltigkeitsstrategien umzusetzen. Ich bin davon überzeugt, dass das klassische Spannungsfeld aus Kosten, Zeit, Qualität und Flexibilität nicht nur um die Dimension Nachhaltigkeit erweitert werden muss. Vielmehr müssen Prozesse künftig im Sinne des Triple-Bottom-Line-Ansatzes neu gedacht werden: Ökologie, Soziales & Ökonomie. Maximal diesen Trade-Off dürfen wir diskutieren. Klingt spannend? Ich freue mich über den Austausch mit Processes and sustainability are my passion. I was able to combine both topics in my Master's thesis, which I successfully submitted to the University of Hamburg as part of the International Management & Sustainability programme in September 2022. Building on the scientific findings, I am now looking forward to advocating sustainable social & economic action in practice and implementing sustainability strategies through ecological, social and economic business process development. I am convinced that the classic conflicting priorities of cost, time, quality and flexibility must not only be expanded to include the dimension of sustainability. Rather, processes must be rethought in the future in terms of the triple bottom line approach: Ecology, Social & Economy. This is the maximum trade-off we can discuss. Sounds exciting?
