About Joelle Molcan

I graduated from BCIT's Medical Radiography program in September 2013. While developing my skills as a X-ray technologist, I complete my Bachelor's of Health Sciences online at Thompson River's University by September 2015. In 2016, I trained as a CT Technologist at Kelowna General Hospital. By 2018, I had graduated and completed my MRI 2nd Discipline certificate through NAIT. While working at the hospital, I was asked to complete some leadership courses to potentially prepare me for a Supervisory Role. I feel I have the proven ability inside and outside of work to set objectives, establish priorities and remain organized. While working and completing all the schooling I have in the last 7 years, I have been fortunate enough to travel to 50+ countries in that time as well. I am able to manage time and promote cooperation among the interdisciplinary team. I strive to advocate for positive staff morale, teamwork, and collaboration. I am eager to integrate best practices and to research evidence to support professional practice decisions and actions. Working in many different modalities, I have demonstrated the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, the public and medical staff in a variety of forms.
