About Joeri Vaessen

Graduated the academic Strategic Business Management & Marketing pre-master and BBA in Tourism Management, followed by the completion of the MSc. in Social Sciences at Tilburg University. Passionately worked in Europe’s outside sales team for Seabourn Cruises & Holland America Line, developed the Asia portfolio for tailor made tour operator Avila Reizen and worked as Director of Sales - Europe at Velaa Private Island, Maldives. Followed by a return in the International Sales & Marketing team at Holland America Line in 2022. I have a keen interest in: ⁂ Sales & Marketing ⁂ World of cruising ⁂ International markets ⁂ Small luxury hospitality industry ⁂ Tourism and leisure practices ⁂ Retail opportunities ⁂ Creative entrepreneurship In addition, I have an affinity with cultural differences, nature & wildlife, tasting good wine & beer and a passion for exploring the world of deep sea diving. As I believe self-reflection is indispensable: I would describe myself as a networker, being globally minded, a social team worker, commercially driven and with a constant eye for detail a little perfectionistic.
