Any entrepreneur can attest to the many different hats you MUST wear in order to be successful in business. Some thirty years ago I recognized that if small business owners were going to take me seriously, I had better understand every facet of running a small business. My practical education began long before my formal education with two stints in the U. S. Marine Corps where I learned integrity, honor and doing the right thing even if it wasn't popular. I transitioned from the Marines to local law enforcement in the Great State of Texas where I learned the value of being thorough and fair with everyone. It was during this period of my life that I entered the University of Texas where I formally studied business. My study concentration was accounting in the M. B. A. program. Aside from learning the "how-to" of running a business, I learned the importance of system implementation. In the past 22 years, I've started three separate successful businesses in three separate industries. My passion has always been that of a deal-maker and for the past 12 years I have focused exclusively on growing my marketing company. I have an exclusive marketing agreement with AMS Staff Leasing that allows me to offer unique administrative solutions to just about any kind of small business located in the United States. I have also masterminded several joint venture deals involving the construction, commercial diving and labor provider industries. I have considerable experience in developing, implementing and managing viral e-mail campaigns using permission-based marketing techniques with a strong focus on inbound marketing. Specialties: Contract negotiation, labor negotiation, e-mail marketing, direct response advertising, development/implementation/management of cash flow management programs and inbound marketing.
