I am a strategic and action-oriented Finance Partner who focuses on delivering results and driving long term value creation. My working style is centered around the following five principles- Relationship is important: I invest my time to understand my customers and my team's need. I involve them and keep them engaged by taking them on the journey- Purpose-led deliverables: I am big on understanding my purpose and connecting it to the things that I do. I motivate and empower my team to go above and beyond to achieve our shared-purpose- Simple and Easy: If things are too complex, the audience get lost easily. I have experience working with 5 EGMs who have varying financial proficiency. The regular engagement with these senior stakeholders have taught me to keep my messaging simple and easy to follow- Telling stories through data: I am passionate about using fact-based and data-driven analyses to inform and influence my stakeholders- Be curious: I like to ask questions and I am a constant learner. While I have been at ASB Bank in the last 10 years, I have moved around the organisation to develop a broad range of skills and experience in financial planning & forecasting, business partnering, financial control & reporting, regulatory project implementation, pricing, financial modelling, and treasury.
