About Johan Ericsson

I want to help software development teams improve their ways of working and get them excited about solving problems. I know how easily you can get stuck with inefficient processes when you could be using the time to develop the best software in the world. It is very motivating to see how a little adjustment to the attitude and a little agility in the process can do wonders for schedules, quality and peoples' well being. I know the possibilities as well as the pitfalls with agile software development, and i know how to get teams to navigate among these. I am good at seeing the big picture, reacting quickly to changing circumstances and helping people find a solution to their problems. Not only do i have a large technical experience but i also get along well with people. I have been in projects in Finland and Europe and my teams have always had an international background. My career has involved every aspect of the release, integration and quality assurance process. From setting up continuous integration systems from scratch and specifying how to develop them to leading teams that support and develop release machinery serving thousands of users per day. My technical expertise, willingness to help and positive leadership have been well appreciated by my team members and clients. As a person i am happy, sociable and experimental. I have a coaching style of leadership and a calm and assertive attitude.
