About Johan Karhu

I am a 42-year-old Electronics Engineer, and father of two, who has transitioned into RPA and software development. Over the past years, I have focused on creating API-centric internal systems and RPA solutions for customer care and technical support teams. In my daily work I thrive on solving complex problems and creating solutions that enhance the customer experience and optimize processes. My career journey began with my education background in electronics and telecommunications engineering, and it equipped me with the necessary skills to learn and grow in several different fields. Today I have solid experience in software robotics, automation development, full-stack development, system testing, service assurance and network management. I am also a self-taught component level electronics repair technician, fixing things like computer motherboards and GPUs as a hobby. I have always been a natural problem solver, and with that comes the ability to analyze a broad spectrum of technical challenges and then apply effective, results-driven solutions. Coupled with an innate ability to quickly learn and master new systems, recently platforms such as UiPath and NICE Automation Studio, I strive to consistently improve myself. In my work I focus on creating user-friendly, customer-centric tools that improve both efficiency and satisfaction, a passion that continues to motivate me every day. One of my interests and strong suits have also been the communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and customers, and I see huge value in strong and mutually respecting professional relationships as key factors in any project. My fluency in Finnish, Swedish, and English has played a central role in ensuring seamless communication across organization borders. Outside of work, I like to tinker with more hands-on activities such as electronics repair and 3D printing. I feel that these activities help refine my technical skills, reinforcing my ability to think innovatively and approach challenges with fresh perspectives. Johan Karhu
