Business Partner Years of experience as business partner taught me that good listening, identifying the real issue of the management and translating this challenge into possible scenario’s is the key to success. My knowledge of finance and BI systems was the key finding solutions for complex business questions and issues. Control Cycle The total control cycle starting by creating a strategic goal and 10 year outlook scenario’s, following by a target letter, yearly budget, latest estimates and control of the actual results in between, are all in my area of expertise. I have controlled the total Supply Chain: Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, Production, Quality and Commerce. Business Intelligence BI and other IT Improving management information by initiating and processing projects is what I like to do. I was the controller of a big international BPR/SAP implementation project for 2 years. I have analysed data and created the functional design for BI tools like: SAPBW, Cognos TM1, Cognos11, Business Objects and Every Angle. I have built models for variable costing, purchasing analyses, energy control, KPI house, FTE analyses, gross margin analyses. Process improvement Rebuilding processes to higher standards with a reduction of mistakes is a drive to me. I have simplified OTC, PTP and RTR processes to be ready for transfer to the new Shared Service Organisation. KPI house Defining overall KPI’s and making this KPI’s the common was one of my big challenges in the past. After alignment and finalising the definitions, the next step was to introduce a tool to collect and report the KPI’s. Business cases The base set up of business cases is important, because a good set up makes the calculations clear and post audits possible. I have created business cases and regular post audits with communication of results to the MT. Personal I am married and we have three children. My hobbies are: walking, cycling, fitness, golf, theatre and a good dinner.
