About Johan Lammers

I am passionate to leave every organization I am involved with in a better state than I found it. At McKinsey & Company, I mostly serve (semi-)public and defense-related clients (gov't, armed forces, industry, financial), mostly on their strategy, transformation and crisis resilience/response challenges. I lead our social mobility initiatives in the Benelux, i.e. our free public webinar-based 10-week upskilling program Forward and PRISM, our pro bono platform and internal community for social mobility colleagues and allies. Previous experiences were at the European Commission and Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, mostly on defense & security challenges. I hold an MBA from INSEAD, an Master's degree with Distinction in War from King's College London, and a BSc cum laude from Leiden University College. Pro bono, I’m involved with several mentorship programs for disadvantaged students (refugees; non-Western; 1st generation); and advise the Boards of 2 small / medium-size NGOs. I have been a (inter)national debating champion for several consecutive years and am still a public speaking fan!
