About Johan Lundin

Johan Lundin is R&D Director at BSL - Brandskyddslaget. He has been working with fire safety and risk management in a wide area, e.g. with building regulations, FSE-design, safety documentation according to the Seveso directive, as independent safety assessor according to CSM-RA and as chief risk engineer for some of the largest infrastructure projects in Sweden, e.g. the City Line Link tunnel Project, the road tunnel Bypass Stockholm, the bus terminal in the Slussen project and planning of the new subway from Odenplan to Arenastaden in Stockholm. Johan has 10 years of experience from research and education at the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University and is specialised in fire safety engineering and risk management. He presented his PhD thesis "Safety in Case of Fire - The Effect of Changing Regulations" in 2005. He has been Director of Studies for the Master's Programme in Risk Management and Safety Engineering at Lund University from the start 2001 until 2005. As a consultant Johan has continued with applied research for example in projects concerned with model development and guidelines for governmental agencies and municipalities in addition to FSE-research. Currently Johan is working as an expert reviewer of major infrastructure projects for the Swedish Transport Administration and advisor in oversite development projects.
