About Johan S.

My passion is working on exciting software development projects built with the latest technology, where I can use my knowledge, expertise and creativity with excellent co-workers. I have led development in various projects during my 15+ years of developing software for the web, mobile, enterprise and desktop. For the past couple of years I've been working at a Fintech company in Oslo with open banking and related services. I joined early on and have been working on building the team, culture, ways of working and processes as well as recruitment. Also dabbled in SaaS e-commerce and WMS software. Before this I worked at a leader in the in the BI and analytics space on a revolutionary hybrid cloud offering, that is for the first time offering choice, based on your needs, in the BI and analytics space. It does not matter if you are an enterprise customer, or if your needs are personal. Previous to this, I was working on a cloud based engagement and e-commerce platform with a team of about 150 people globally at a company with employees. We built a revolutionary customer experience, from the ground up in the cloud, with world class management, governance and integration capabilities. I’m passionate about building great quality, scalable software that is built the right way, from the ground up. I’m an avid believer in agile development and the many advantages it brings, both for the development teams and the product owners. I’m also good at explaining technology to non-technicians and vice versa, which makes me a good liaison between the development team and other parties. Finally, I have a strong work ethic and will work hard to get the job done. Besides software executive positions, I'm also open for board member positions in companies or non-profit organizations that can use my expertise from the IT sector, or otherwise.
