About Johan Valles

With over 20 years of work experience in electronic maintenance, I am a passionate and dedicated leader who strives to deliver high-quality service and support to the US Army and its allies. My core competencies include problem solving, supervisory skills, and information technology, and I have a strong expertise in the PATRIOT system, a combat missile system that features a phased array radar set and control station. As an Electronic Maintenance Manager at US Army, I manage and perform advanced field level maintenance with an amazing group of soldier technicians on the PATRIOT system, ensuring its optimal performance and readiness. I delegate, set work priorities, and coordinate repairs of job/work orders, and I am responsible for the repair and maintenance of over 50 major end items valued at over $225 million. I also provide technical guidance and assistance to Battery and Battalion personnel, and interface with Raytheon contractors, Logistics Support personnel, and Maintenance Control Sections. I have successfully led a Quick Reaction Force consisting of 27 individuals responsible for 24 hour security of Fort Sill in the event of an emergency, with prompt response times and no injuries, missing or late personnel or equipment during drills. I use Microsoft Office to create and update reports, documents, and presentations, and I communicate effectively in English, Spanish, and conversational German.
