About Johan van der Kamp

Working on uncultivated areas of heat transfer and fluid flow is my engineering passion. Since 1975 I work at Bronswerk Heat Transfer Netherlands. First as Project Engineer, later I worked as Sales Engineer now I have a job as Chief (thermal) Design Engineer. My job mainly consists of: Thermal Design of Heat Exchangers. Thermal Design of Air cooled Coolers. I am the Chief (thermal) Design Engineer from Bronswerk since 1993. As CDE I have final responsibility for: The quality of the thermal designs Bronswerk offers. The technical quality of the team that makes the designs. From 1981 I became a Sales Engineer, which gave the opportunity to convince the customers of the quality of the designs. From 1983 until today I am a member of the Review Panel of HTFS/ASPEN on tubular exchangers. Knowledge Management is a topic that has extreme importance in my view. This high interest has resulted in experience in this field. I joined the Special Interest Group (SIG) of NAP on “Knowledge Management in the Process Industry”. I have also contributed on another SIG of NAP, “Process Industry and Energy Savings” => success through cooperation in the business chain. Since May 2010 I am a board member of NPT, the Nederlandse Procestechnologen. In this board I care the working field Bulk chemicals & Energy.
