About John Amos

My career began as an Analyst/Developer, transitioning through various team leadership roles and technologies eventually operating as and supporting senior leadership. I describe myself as an experienced IT specialist with broad experience gained over 25 years in NZ, UK and Europe. With strong communication and interpersonal skills, I'm experienced at building relationships and managing stakeholders inside and outside of organizations. I offer experience in IT strategic planning with Board, Executive Leadership, stakeholders, vendors, and customers. I've operated as both Head of Technology and Chief Information Officer in various acting roles. Delivery is my core, leading teams to design, develop, test, and maintain digital products, platforms, and infrastructure. My preference is to drive success through the empowerment of people, customer focus, and close business alignment. I have worked in both agile, waterfall and hybrid delivery models with experience of tuning methodologies to the business needs. I have experience overseeing the delivery of programme and project from planning, budget management, governance, communication, and vendor commercials and management.
