About John Aniello

John Aniello started his career in the fire service in 2003 and served both volunteer and career fire agencies, retiring from service in 2021. In addition to his expertise in the fire service, John has over 22 years of experience in the electrical trade with a successful electrical contractor company. John has been conducting fire investigations for the past five years, with a focus on fires involving electrical systems. John is currently a Fire Analyst with NEFCO Fire Investigations and a Fire Investigator with the Westchester County Cause & Origin Team. John teaches various fire courses for New York State, Office of Fire Prevention of Control and fire investigation courses for the National Fire Academy. Highly organized and accustomed to managing multiple tasks – certified in many aspects of the fire service including fire investigation, hazardous materials, and other specialty/technical fields within the fire service and Homeland Security. Strong leadership skills evidenced by the ability to influence and lead various training sessions and command emergency calls as an acting fire officer. Previously responsible for department lesson plan development, researching, organizing, coordinating and implementing outside training for the department.
