As a long time radio, motion picture and television producer with a talent for invention, John has acquired a unique history of creatively melding media with technology and is currently CEO of Synchronicity.co, Inc. and SpotMagic, Inc. Synchronicity is a cloud-based SAAS platform providing services designed to position the company as the central point of data communication within the broadcast radio ecosystem. Synchronicity connects advertising agencies, media creators, and radio stations using a suite of proprietary real-time service applications that provide automated solutions to distribute audio programming and commercials from their source directly into each radio station’s playout automation system, and then immediately return the “as played” data to Synchronicity. Synchronicity turns days or weeks of manual tasks into real-time, automated processes with 99.9% accuracy of execution. The system is now connected to more than 3,600 stations, and processed hours of programming and 1.6 million commercials in January 2019. Synchronicity technology also provides a studio quality digital replacement for satellite program distribution and will soon include direct-to-consumer digital audio and video and terrestrial television services. SpotMagic applications have radically simplified the convergence of digital media and mass media broadcasting with an all-in-one system for production and synchronous play-out of highly targeted multiple media, multiple screen content and advertising. Previously, John founded DG Systems, Inc.(DGIT), the very first media company to exploit computer technology to link producers and broadcasters with high quality digital distribution of radio and television content.
