My name is John Michael Arnett, I am currently pursuing my M.S. in Integrative Biological Diversity at Western Connecticut State University focusing on Diamond-back Terrapins (Malaclemys terrapin). I am a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, with a degree in Forestry, and an emphasis in Forestry Wildlife Management. During my four years as an undergraduate I had the opportunity to work with multiple graduate students and professors on various research projects. I have also conducted my own research and composed a manuscript titled "Mediterranean house Geckos (Hemidactylus turcicus) exploit novel resources in a recipient lizard assemblage". Since Graduation I have gotten the chance to work with multiple different species ranging from Alligator snapping turtles (Macrochelys temminckii) in East Texas too Burmese pythons (Python bivittatus) in South Florida.
