About John Barr

Mainly due to my advancing years, I have changed direction in my life. I have worked as an estate agent since January 2016 and started with Sothebys International Realty as a property practioner in Muizenberg and Marina da Gama and enjoyed it a lot. I love meeting people! As Rezprop changed their focus from residential sales to concentrating solely on developements, I made a move to a more traditional agency and haven't regretted it. In January 2019 I decided to spread my my wings and moved to a smaller agency called REZPROP who were expanding into the Southern Peninsula. This move has benefitted both my clients and myself. Prior to 2016 I had 30 years extensive and diversified experience in metallurgy, plant operations and the gold and diamond mining industry,mainly as an Expatriate in Angola and Lesotho I am an assertive and interactive individual and like to be hands-on. I am very good at identifying and resolving probems. I like to be part of a team and to motivate people to achieve. I am focused on pursuing a challenging employment opportunity that encourages developement, professional growth and leadership.
