About John Barranco

John leads the business development efforts for PRIME Business Advisory Solutions. In this pivotal role, he not only identifies businesses in need of consulting services but also creates and cultivates strategic collaborations that elevate organizational success. Before joining PRIME full-time, John led business development efforts at Morgan & Co, a prominent advertising agency in New Orleans. During his time there, he successfully connected businesses with media experts, contributing to the development of effective media strategies. As the Senior Associate Commissioner for Corporate Sales and Marketing at the Sun Belt Conference, John showcased his expertise and sales experience spanning over two decades. He consistently forged valuable partnerships between brands and marketing opportunities. Prior to his seven year stint a the Sun Belt Conference, Barranco led regional sales efforts for Cox Sports Television (CST) Network, a division of Cox Communications Louisiana, LLC. While with Cox he was responsible for core and digital advertising sales and his efforts led to an over 300% increase in total advertising sales on CST from the beginning of 2008 until the end of 2012. In addition to his professional achievements, John is actively involved in philanthropy. Since 2007, he has been a dedicated committee member of the Fore!Kids Foundation and holds positions on their board of directors. He also co-founded and served as the Executive Director of the Leon V. Rosato Sr. Memorial Golf Tournament, a highly successful event benefiting United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Greater Birmingham. John dedicates his time to coaching youth sports in his community. Hailing from Birmingham, Alabama, he earned his B.A. in Communications, specializing in Public Relations, from UAB.
