I began my career in the commercial insurance industry in August 2022 as a Technical Assistant at Conner, Strong & Buckelew Insurance & Risk Management Brokerage Firm — first through a temp agency, then acquiring full-time status as a Conner Strong employee in January 2023. By servicing my team’s clients from an array of industries including Real Estate, Construction, and Engineering, I continue learning more each day about the world of commercial property and casualty insurance. Prior to my current role, I worked for one year (2021-2022) as a manger for my brother’s cleaning company, Extreme Clean, based in Bucks County, PA. There I helped manage the daily maintenance of several elementary schools, offices, churches, and other buildings. After graduating La Salle University in 2016 with a B.A. in both Spanish and German and a minor in Leadership & Global Understanding, I taught high school Spanish for five years — first as a long-term substitute at two different schools, followed by four years full-time at Nazareth Academy, the only private, Catholic, all-girls high school in Philadelphia. While I cherish those years and the relationships I built along the way, I discovered that the classroom was not a fit for me. I am confident in my career change, and I look forward to my continued personal and professional advancement.
