Patients experience this brokenness through their health journey everyday (e.g, care coordination, communications, post-acute continuity of care, hospital-at-home / home care, emotional-spiritual support, etc.). Improving the healthcare system is serious, challenging, impactful work; every-day matters. With a personal mission of helping people live a healthier life, I function best when leveraging healthcare, IT, and change transformation strengths; and seek roles on For-Profit healthcare private Boards, as well as limited-term roles with healthcare entities improving patient/provider engagement and experience, total cost of care, process/quality improvement, and health equity. There's much in healthcare to transform. My proprietary approach: LEAD WITH YOUR EARS- listen to the consumer and courageously transform detractor and neutral biases to yield promoting influencers; SYSTEMS THINKING- remember money flows in a circle… one party's cost is another party's income; DIGITIZE- efficient/effective digitization of medical information built on an "ease of use promotes use" foundation enabling consumer transparency and engagement; DISRUPT- skillfully deploy change transformation tools in- and outside of the enterprise. People know me as a critical thinker, planner, communicator and solution implementer ensuring goals are met and results delivered. My willingness to “get my hands dirty” has developed my skills as a builder and leader of strong, competent organizations with a reputation for getting things done, particularly projects or situations considered complex, difficult or troubled. Based on 360 feedback, I'm regarded as a courageous marketplace leader and innovator; driven practical operator; enterprise citizen and advocate; and thoughtful enterprise steward.
