About John Beebe

My education and experience qualifies me to work within the school system at both the elementary and middle school levels. I have enjoyed my time spent within kindergarten, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade classrooms, and have found both urban and rural assignments to be uniquely satisfying. Despite my love of teaching, I am looking to utilize the interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills that I have acquired in a manner that allows for maximum professional development. I graduated with honors from Western Michigan University. My current position is teaching fourth grade at Arcadia Elementary School. Throughout my teaching career, I have developed a working style that focuses on being organized and efficient. I derive satisfactions from learning new skills and pride myself on being punctual with deadlines. My commitment to service has led me to two wonderful jobs prior to teaching. For three years, I served as a financial advisor at a local credit union. This experience was invaluable as it taught me effective communication skills, age specific competencies, and patience. These skills were further developed when I served as a substitute teacher. Guest teaching was beneficial not only for the teaching experience it provided, but also for the opportunity it gave me to develop into an effective and confident leader.
