About John Bevington

An experienced Chair and CEO, who worked for Shell and then Unilever for nearly 30 years,in both Operating Company and Head Office roles, internationally ( in five different countries and three continents) and then back in the UK. Experienced in leading both consumer and B2B companies, exercising European Board responsibilities, turning round ailing Operating Companies within the Group, and international consultancy roles across Europe, the USA, and EAPR. Thereafter CEO of a global Food and Beverage technology consulting business. Latterly have concentrated on the financial services/pension sectors, and have held several different NED roles over the last decade in both public and private sectors. Have just served a 6 year term as a NED with the Pension Protection Fund. I also coach and mentor nine CEOs, in both private and public sectors, as Chair of the Surrey Hills Footdown Group, a senior leadership organisation. I enjoy the challenge of my varied business interests, and using my extensive experience to ' give something back'. I am active on the tennis court and golf course, and enjoy supporting club and England Rugby. I also relish meeting/working with a wide variety of people, travel and different cultures, and being with my wider family circle.
