I've worked as Safety Administrator for 6 years under numerous Safety Advisors/Managers. As an administrator, I've had experience in; reviewing and updating Company OHS Plans, Policies and Procedures to maintain relevance to current Legislation, maintaining onsite Safety systems, Monthly Reports of data to Project Management, Chairing Safety Committee Meetings, Creating Quarterly Safety Reports for Company Directors and General site support to the Safety Advisor/Manager. In 2016 I took the role of Safety Manager starting at Breeze Apartments in West End then onto Halo Apartments at South Brisbane. As a Safety Manager, I have an administrator reporting to me. I have experience in; Reviewing and approving Subcontractor Safety Plans, Writing Project Safety and Emergency Plans, Site Inspections and Auditing, Implementing Company Policies and Procedures, Advising Project Team on matters of WHS, Coordinating daily works with site team to ensure compliance with Legislation, Speaking at Site Meetings, Issuing Safety Breach notices for non-compliance with WHS Legislation, Incident Investigation and Reporting, First Aid Treatment for injuries, Emergency Drill Warden and Continual re-education of Company Staff for both internal WHS Procedures and updated Legislation. I enjoy engaging with people and offering support in overcoming issues.
