About John Blankenship

I have over 30 years in the engineering and graphic artist / proposal field. With using programs such as AutoCAD to MicroStation, Paint to Adobe Illustrator, my computer skills branch out to becoming a great asset to any team. My leadership and management skills have placed my ability to do the assigned job first and focusing on the education on those in my team above most other management leaders. I've made a career out of giving my all to do one thing,'Provide excellent service to make sure the job is done with quality service and under budget.'It is my goal to exceed clients’ needs and expectations with an excellent client relationship and working very well with others whether leading a group of dedicated people or being a team player. While in the engineering field, I have worked on many projects consisting of 7 years of utility construction, telecommunication engineering with land line and cellular towers; 10 years of site-work with grading, drainage, cut and fill calculations, landfill; 16 years of roadway engineering consisting of plan proposal work, alignments, cross sections, typical sections, plans and preparation, aerial photography mapping, maintenance of traffic, signing and marking, ITS system, lighting, drainage and retention ponds, erosion control; railway consisting of alignment, plans, typical sections, cross sections, light rail, high speed rail, commuter rail; waste-water management; architectural; airport design; as well as proposal preparation, public information open houses, client relations & meetings, safety control, and quality control and quality maintenance with ISO standards. In addition to this I would like to add since 2009, I have built a corporate business on my own helping other small business owners. With the economy in the state that it is that has been the challenge to every small business owner during these trouble times. I have focused my time and service to learning new skills to keep myself marketable and of use to the world of design. I have greatly succeeded in the world of online marketing having my clients’ business appear in the top ranked pages of the online marketing field. I have harnessed the business and social media marketing such as Facebook, Twitter and blogging. I am more than qualified, have experience and have the wonderful capability to learn new programs on top of teaching others what I know and helping a company grow. I am a loyal and hardworking individual with usually starts work early in the day and leaves after everyone else is gone.
