About John Blase

My professional experiences range from being an aircraft commander in charge of a 5 person crew, a liaison between the Air Force and the Army during combat operations, bridging two very different cultures and operation styles, Chief of Weapons and Tactics and flight instructor flying the MC-12, to my current job as a 2 seat U-2S instructor teaching the next generation of high altitude reconnaissance pilots. I have held various leadership positions such as Flight Commander in charge of 17 airmen, an Aircraft Commander in charge of a crew of 5 combat aviators as well as the Director of Operations in two combat squadrons. In addition to the primary jobs I've tackled I have also tried to use my engineering degree to create helpful solutions to various problems to flight and ground operations as well as various other smaller projects.
