About Me: Most recently, Director within ATCO Structures & Logistics Finance & Accounting team with oversight of Internal Audit, Internal Control, Risk Management, Corporate Compliance and Insurance Management. Extensive experience working in the public and private sectors for both domestic and international clientele. A performance driven, decisive leader capable of enabling change through the effective engagement of stakeholders and business partners possessing strong communication and facilitation skills that supports positive interaction with all personnel. My Speciality: Internal Audit, Internal Controls, Risk Management, Corporate Compliance and Business Improvement identification. Known for utilizing collaborative skills and developing strong client relationships in a short period of time. Passionate about building teams and creating positive energy within those teams. Led and been responsible for implementing various internal control, compliance and risk management initiatives including, the documentation, review and testing of internal controls across international subsidiaries, creating and implementing an Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Corporate Policy and Program and streamlining the process of gathering and evaluating identified risks. What I am passionate about: Continuous learning whether that be through the reading of books or white papers and by developing better learning and understanding of the responsibilities assigned to various teams within an organization. Remaining curious and taking time to nurture that knowledge fostering innovation and creativity to drive better processes and performance. In my spare time I enjoy boating and reading. Each of these activities fills me with a calm and enables me to reflect on current and upcoming responsibilities, whether personal or work related and allows me to better enjoy my surroundings.
