Over the past eight years I have initiated and delivered a huge range of improvement projects with impacts including a 20% increase in company annual profit; thousands of saved annual labour hours, and dramatically reduced systemic business risk. Some key achievements in that time have included co-authoring a black-belt level six-sigma training programme for an internationally recognised training provider; rapidly redesigning key processes in a complex electronics Supply Chain - enabling it to thrive through the complexities of Covid and the semiconductor allocation crisis; and revolutionising logistics systems and processes to enable frictionless, cost-optimised shipping to over 30 international destinations. Having risen rapidly through the Supply Chain function to the role Supply Chain manager at Paxton - being shortlisted twice in the process at the CIPS Excellence in Procurement awards - my recent promotion to Improvement Manager for the entire business has given me the scope to work with Executive level stakeholders across every aspect of the company, driving the same high-impact, transformative change I delivered in the Supply Chain. In my spare time I am a jazz and blues pianist, chess player and dad to two, not-particularly-small-anymore, children.
