I am an experienced Infection Preventionist with more than 8 years of Infection Prevention in the Acute Care Hospital and their off-site settings including ambulatory surgery centers and medical clinics. I am Certified in Infection Control and Healthcare Accreditation. I have strong skills in relationship building, program management, and process/performance improvement to assist facilities and their targeted departments to achieve their goals. Other skills of mine include surveillance, research, data analysis, and monitoring of adherence to best practices. My education and work experience provide me with the skills and knowledge that I apply to Infection Prevention and Healthcare Accreditation. My accomplishments include driving Medical-Surgical units to achieve over 1100 days without a CLABSI and ICU units to achieve over 900 days without a CAUTI.
