Most recently, co-founded v-ridium, a pan European & US renewable energy developer backed by Greenvolt, a European corporate. Prior to v-ridium, built three €100m+ equity-valued renewable energy businesses from startup phase for three different corporates. Specialises in building start-up global businesses involving (i) identifying & executing on differentiating competitive advantages across geographies to drive business growth,(ii) closing strategic deal origination & (iv) building top performing global teams. A selection of career highlights include- With IPPs, deployed €200+ million in equity capital across 10+ transactions with returns of ~16%- With OEMs, established global development business units from the ground up for both GE and Vestas, constructing a ~8GW pipeline across both organisations and originating €100M in strategic partnership deals across the world (Vestas & GE Capital EFS)- Acquired Your Energy (UK) developer for £20M, investing ~£20M in project equity and exiting to Greencoat Capital for £90.6M (2014) to realise +2x ROI (The AES Corporation)- Project Director for US$100M in equity investment including ‘2008 Sustainable Deal of the Year – EMEA Finance Magazine’ and ‘Deal of the Year – Invest Bulgaria’ (The AES Corporation)
