About John Bruce

I am a recent graduate of Wright State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Physical Education. My student teaching began in January 2016 at Wilmington Middle School in Wilmington, OH for Physical Education and concluded in April 2016 at Clinton Massie High School in Clarksville, OH for Health Education. I have my teaching license through the Ohio Department of Education. Last school year, I was a long term substitute at two different schools (Indian Hill Middle School and Wilmington High School) and am looking to find a full time placement soon. I have been a coach in some facet since I graduated high school in 2003, giving me excellent experience of working with a variety of age groups and skill levels. I have recently discovered the importance of health and physical activity for children and look forward to being able to impress that upon young minds following graduation. I am willing to move for an opportunity to mold young minds. A coaching position would be something that I would be very interested in, however, it is my secondary goal and will always be secondary behind teaching.
