About John Bucher

Call it a promiscuous 20-year apprenticeship in magazines, digital editorial, websites, social media, and content strategy, with awards to show for it. In creating Yahoo's highest performing global site, I operated as a sort of digital carpenter/architect, adept with hammer and pencil. The internet may be taking us to scary places, but people respond to work of impact, honesty, and delight. Words connect us to other hearts and minds, so we should take care in their use. I love knotty problems, and I have a good eye. I reread books. I do my best work in the early morning. I had a modicum of street cred on the edenic early Twitter, and was known as the Facebook Whisperer to one of the province's most trusted brands. I prefer the Oxford comma."None of this fits together? How very true. A death that redeems nothing, and then, on the other hand, the whole radiance of the world."
