Following retirement I have recently started doing some consulting with Hansuke Consulting, mainly in relation to the UK Offshore Funds tax regime. I “retired” in March 2019 from Eversheds Sutherland International LLP, an international law firm resulting from the combination of Eversheds LLP and Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP (U.S.) from 1 February 2017. I may still work with Eversheds Sutherland from time to time on a consultancy basis as and when useful. I joined Eversheds in March 2015 after leaving HM Revenue and Customs where I spent almost 15 years. In an earlier existence I was a lecturer in Mathematics in a New College, Swindon and previously in two schools, as well as an examiner for 'A'- level Mathematics.
