About John Budenas

I joined the Digital Team at 22News as a Digital Content Producer in March of 2023. Before this role, I worked in their Sales Department, assisting local businesses to gain visibility throughout our market by utilizing our various advertising opportunities. Before joining WWLP, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in journalism with a focus in public relations from Keene State College in 2020. There, I was actively involved in orientation, 91.3 WKNH, and my fraternity, Alpha Sigma Phi. I also undertook an internship as a social media intern for the college in their Marketing Department, managing the institution’s social media accounts, and writing articles for the website. I have also worked extensively with local bands, musicians, and music festivals throughout high school and college. Additionally, I’ve had work featured in various New Hampshire-based publications, such as the Union Leader and Nashua Telegraph, and was awarded “PR Student of the Year” in 2019. In the summer following graduation, I continued to enhance my internship experience by interning with a Los Angeles-based clothing company, Greek House.
