It requires understanding new technology and searching for insight into its uses and impacts.From a corporate perspective, one builds value through assessing and developing new innovations and technologies, as well as inserting them into core business products, services, and internal operations. Corporations need people who can both absorb across a spectrum of new technologies, while also being able to deep-dive into a disruptive technology, understand it enough, and apply it to one's endeavors. Hence this is the role of the Renaissance-Technologist.
